Shot under the bridge downtown ( are you humming some Red Hot Chili Peppers now.) The detail in this image is just sick. I'm starting to finally get the graffiti portrait series converted to black and white, as I have intended to do for quite some time. Why you ask convert to monochrome when graffiti is so colorful? Glad you asked, I like the rich texture the subject exhibits in a monochrome environment. The tactile feeling is more like a charcoal and paint piece than a photograph. I'm quite happy with the new developments in black and white printing technology and want to push some of my work in this direction.
